Time: Until further notice. The water level in Lake Vättern is currently significantly lower than normal for the time of year. In connection with the Göta Canal's entrance and exit in Motala, vessels with a draft greater than 2.6 meters should pass in the area closest to the starboard-hand spar buoys, both at the entrance and exit. The starboard-hand spar buoys have been temporarily moved towards the piers to widen the deepest area in the port. A special purpose spar buoy have been temporarily established to mark a shallow position. The changes are temporary and will be restored when Lake Vättern has regained normal water levels. |
