Effective October 1, 2026 The Swedish Transport Agency has updated regulations and general advice on the Vessel Traffic Information Service (VTS) and Ship Reporting System (SRS) TSFS 2009:56 and regulations and general advice on vessel traffic on the Södertälje Canal TSFS 2019:96. The regulations are withdrawn and replaced by regulations TSFS 2026:60 and TSFS 2026:61 respectively. The changes affect the current additional information (so-called notes) in the charts, which will consequently be updated in the affected products when the regulations come into force. Certain limits of VTS area boundaries and reporting points are changing, which will be communicated via Swedish NtM.
